Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital, is a world leader in pediatric healthcare. With a medical staff of more than 650 physicians and over 3,500 employees, the hospital is renowned for excellence in all aspects of pediatric medical care from birth through adolescence. Nicklaus Children's Hospital offers more than 40 pediatric specialties and sub-specialties, and is home to Florida’s only free-standing pediatric trauma center.
Nicklaus Children's Hospital is also home to the Pediatric Outpatient Centers that serves the community. To enhance our service to South Florida Families we developed outpatient centers that feature select pediatric healthcare services such as urgent care and physical therapy for children up to 21 years old.
The National Foundation for Local Charities, Inc. (“NFFLC”) is a non-profit organization that endeavors to promote giving back to the community through non-profit organizations that reflect the interests of local communities. The Foundation supports a variety of non-profit causes across the United States through our partnership with Cause Travel, where traveling supports the chosen causes. Those who serve NFFLC have it in their hearts to give and are united as one through the idea of helping others. One hundred percent (100%) of the funds generated by NFFLC are directly passed on to the supported causes.
